This website previews FitGod 2.0, which is upcoming. The App Store currently offers the previous version. Screens and controls shown here may therefore differ from the app currently available to download.
Recording a workout
The FitGod 2.0 workout screen keeps weight and repetitions with each set. Check the values against what you actually completed; a planned number and a completed number are not always the same. Keep warm-up and working sets distinct when reviewing the session.
Use consistent weight conventions. Record total barbell weight including the bar, and make clear whether a dumbbell weight is per hand. Compare a machine's displayed weight with the same machine. The workout-log guide explains these conventions with an example.
Reviewing history
Use training history to compare the same exercise and equipment across sessions. Check repetitions as well as weight. One lower result does not explain its own cause, and a larger number on a different machine is not necessarily a personal record.
For decisions about increasing repetitions or weight, read the progressive-overload guide. Its examples are general education, not an individual training prescription.
Rest between sets
FitGod 2.0 includes a rest timer alongside the workout. Let your program and readiness guide when to start the next set. A timer reaching zero does not require you to begin before you are ready. When comparing sessions, note meaningful changes in rest as well as load.
Checking version information
For the version currently offered, open the FitGod App Store listing and check its version history and release notes. This site's 2.0 preview does not mean that version is available yet.
